Is there a better way?

Have you ever stopped to question why you do something a certain way? Is it out of convenience? Because it's what you were told or taught to do? Because it works? Because It feels safe? Because doing it any other way is frowned upon? Because that's how everybody else does it?

If we want to get better at solving problems, from the simplest to the more complex, we must have the audacity to question our methodologies often. Is there a better way forward? Why do I continue to complete X by doing A, B, and C? Is it getting me or my project closer to the intended goal?

I anticipate that asking more meaningful questions will ring light to new problems. But the upside is that over time you'll get better at asking more meaningful questions and become more efficient in coming up with solutions to problems that need your most attention.
