Make the experience matter

The best experiences, regardless if we're interacting with a person or engaging with a product or service, change the way we feel for the better. The therapist who patiently listens to his client, the barista who remembers your name, the shop owner who purposely engages with her community to create relevant and anticipated products for her tribe.

It's hard to ignore instances of kindness or interactions where we feel heard and cared for. Moments like these stand out in our minds and hearts because they make us feel human.

If we're capable of experiencing moments of joy like these, is it possible that we can create them for others?

We love (and want) to be wowed. Feeling a part of something greater than ourselves or connected to someone or something that reminds us of our worth are extraordinary feelings and ones we often seek after.

The opportunity to build experiences around our work and in our relationships that help people become better versions of themselves is available to each of us.

How are the experiences you're designing in your day-to-day helping you build deeper relationships with those you seek to serve?
