The time is now

Half a century ago scientists at one of the largest and most powerful oil companies in the world warned leadership that a climate emergency was on the horizon and that immediate action would be needed to have a shot at maintaining the longevity of our planet.

The leadership of this organization ignored the situation. As have many others.

We’re now feeling the aftermath of this stance.

The truth is that climate change isn’t something that’s taking place outside our bubble. It’s happening right now. In our neighborhoods and communities.

More blackouts. Record heat waves. Frequent floods. Drought. Severe storms. Wildfires. The list goes on.

The good news is that it’s not too late. But to create the change we all desire we must first understand what’s actually happening.

Once we can agree that there is a problem we can begin to have conversations that get us closer to a meaningful solution.

If you or your organization are looking for a better way to talk about what’s happening to our planet and what can be done to keep it awesome, The Carbon Almanac team have created several free resources to help you on your journey toward better. Enjoy and share the love.
