Toward Better

It's easy to fall into the trap of believing that our failures have something to do with us as individuals. We may be quick to interpret shortcomings as true representations of our identity, worth, and character. But in fact, they're not.

Failure is part of the human cycle. Without it how do we grow? How would we learn what works and what doesn't? How would we be able to make things better?

Failure has nothing to do with who we are as individuals. It's simply an experience, with attached feelings and emotions, there to nudge us in a different and oftentimes better direction. If we embrace it, failure can be a window of opportunity. It can free us from our rigidity and help us see in new ways that push our work forward toward better.

What will you turn your failures into?
